Everything was very good. the location is just super. There is a bus stop nearby, as well as a train, which is very convenient. The owner is very friendly. Good breakfast.

Clean and practical rooms with a view of Lake Thun, Modaser is a lovely host, breakfast was plenty and well served. The bus stop- Leissegen Bahnoff is put up right outside the hotel : bus 60 to and from Spiez station is free with the guest card, super convenient to travel across Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald.

The Hotel Rosengärtli is ideally situated, being just 3 or 4 miles from Interlaken and overlooking Lake Thun. It's a small hotel with just four bedrooms and a single suite. Our double, en suite room was small but very well equipped and it had a pleasant balcony too (which was ideal for supping a glass of wine or two after some long hikes around Lauterbrunnen). The 'continental' breakfasts are superb, served on a three tier stand (similar to afternoon teas in the UK) and we had a very tasty evening meal at the hotel too.

The breakfast was exceptional, and the morning atmosphere was peaceful and rejuvenating. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel and its restaurant!

Location excellent. Easy to get to Interlaken and Grindewald (by car). As there was a train and bus outside hotel I assume this was also useful also if required. Views beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant downstairs from room. Good breakfast.
