We loved the querky house. It was filled with history and felt very warm and welcoming. The hosts were equally welcoming. The bed comfy. The breakfast great! The bath in the room was a lovely addition. We had a great stay!

The rooms looked nice online but are even better in person - very characterful and our suite was very spacious.The history of the house and area is fascinating. We loved the local village also.

Firstly, Debbie and Craig are lovely, welcoming hosts. We stayed in the Aragorn suite with its four poster bed and roll top bath which made it perfect for our romantic stay. The suite had everything we needed for our comfort. The homemade breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

Location was perfect, close enough to the main road but quiet and in the country. The room and adjoining bathroom were very large and comfortable, with really good facilities. Breakfast was incredible - I could have sat there all morning eating! Homemade fruit compotes, fresh eggs from their chickens, a taste of Scotland with their tatties... it was all delicious. The owners were so friendly and engaging too.
