Beautiful 16th century building just down an alley way behind the market square. Leigh met us at the apartment and showed us around which made the trip personable from the beginning. Despite how old the property is, facilities are all modern and I found the heating worked really quickly. Gifted bread, milk, a couple of beers and a bottle of fizz for our weekend stay which was very kind. I in particular liked the way the saucepans were displayed in the kitchen. Very efficient use of space. Excellent location and the market is a stones throw away. My partner and I visited it on the Saturday. Lots of pubs to go at too which is always a win in my books. The apartment had everything we needed, though the stairs to the bedroom are very steep and not something I had anticipated- fine for us though.

Unfortunately Leigh couldn't meet us for our early check in, so we called on arrival, and he guided us through and everything went perfectly. The place is great and very nicely decorated, the bed is as comfy as other reviews have mentioned (my other half is very fussy on beds, and she was snoring away happily). Location wise, it's in the centre, very close to the shops and a few bars, we stayed Saturday to Monday and didn't find the street noisy at all. Its also surrounded by lovely little cafes and coffee houses. Car parking is about 1 minute walk away. This really is a lovely little place, the pictures don't do it justice, a few complimentary drinks and a cheesey bread left by Leigh, what's not to like. Please do not bother with the chain hotels etc, stay here instead.
