Gorgeous hotel in a historic Leiden building. Everything was clean, warm, and comfortable. Staff was helpful, coordination was easy, and I would gladly stay there again. (If you don't like narrow stairs, don't stay in a building from the 1600s.) No complaints at all. I travel for a living and this kind of individual hotel is getting harder to find. Go to them while & when you can.

The hotel is beautiful, located in front of a canal. The house is very well kept, charming, stylish and welcoming. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. It has a friendly and quiet vibe. The decoration is stunning. I had breakfast and it has great options. It was one of the nicest places I stayed in - and my favourite in the Netherlands!

Great location 16 minute walk from station . Beautifully appointed . Very helpful staff who allowed my daughter to check in ahead of me . Great Nespresso coffee in morning ( in room ) . A small patio with room which would be lovely in summer . Ours was a snug room but great and very good value .

We stayed in the loft and it was really nicely decorated, beautiful and spacious. You got your peace and quiet, which was nice. The location is great with a view to the canal. Staff were very friendly.

Location was absolutely ideal, just a short walk from the train station and in proximity to some amazing restaurants and shops. I loved that my studio had both a mini-kitchen and a washing machine - after being on holiday for several weeks and mostly staying in more traditional hotels, it was so nice to have the extra amenities that made it feel like home. Brekkie in the dining room of the main building is NOT to be missed!! Food is great, but the ambiance is truly magical.

I loved that I was greeted with a local beer. I loved my room in the attic. The N’espresso was fantastic. Location was perfect.

Beautiful building and lovely location overlooking the canal in very quiet but central area of Leiden. We checked in very late in the evening and by arrangement the hotel had key boxes which worked perfectly and they had left us and emailed us excellent instructions to enter and find our room. Breakfast in very pretty dining room was delicious and beautifully presented. We had a lovely quiet ground floor bedroom with a small but very well designed bathroom.
