The room was well appointed. The only small niggle was that there was only one cup and only coffee. Tea would have been nice. Otherwise, the room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. They were in process of doing up the restaurant and bar. If these are accomplished to high standards then these should be great attractions to nearby and further afield customers.

Although the hotel is clearly under renovation my room was very comfortable, clean, well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a lovely big bath as well as a shower although the water pressure was not great so took a long time to fill a bath.

Last minute booking due to being in the area for work, the hotel staff were great and very helpful. The hotel has a lot of character, the room was clean, bedding was exceptional and bathroom too. It has everything you need.
