My third time in Nicosia and third stay at Aksaray hotel. Perfect location, central, in the historic quarter, excellent value for money, very friendly and helpful owner. Building with its own character and authentic feel about it. I know where I am going to stay if I visit the city again.

Great place. Ali is a great host. Spacious rooms, a coffee and some water in the rooms. Location almost in the centre. Good vegetarian breakfast.

Comfy bed, hot shower (once you worked out which switches and taps did which), nice to have a fridge and kettle in the room, TV received quite a few channels (but no BBC), complimentary coffee sachets and there was soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Breakfast was just right and the courtyard was pleasant, a couple of birdcages but they were empty and the birds were free and singing in the trees above, the way things should be.

Welcoming host with early check in and a comfortable bed in a quiet room. Lovely courtyard eating area with a generous breakfast provided. Safe place provided for me to store my cycle.

True to itself, a lovely family run hotel, very rustic, but nice. 5-10 mins walk to the main entertainment areas. A good base to explore from.
