The hotel has character, the room we stayed in was very comfortable and stylish. High ceilings, smart TV, well heated in the recent very cold spell, lovely staff, delicious high quality breakfast. Well located, many good restaurants within walking distance. Quiet as it doesn’t have through traffic. Onsite car park a bonus.

The room was excellent and very comfy. We received a free upgrade. The English breakfast was excellent (I would have liked baked beans with it). The location is excellent. It is directly in the city centre but on a quiet street.

Location fantastic and the staff went above and beyond for us. We arrived too early to check in but wanted to leave our bag. We had had a bottle of water leak over all our clothes so two wonderful ladies hung it all in the drying room and when we did check in, it had all been hung up in our room.
