Stayed here many times and it's always very good. Bar/dining area has recently been refurbished and looked very swish. Breakfast was as always excellent.

Room was big enough for our needs, clean and warm. Lighting was good, with enough furniture. Lovely big wall mounted T.V and could be seen from all parts of the room. Dinner was excellent and a well laid out buffet breakfast, tasty as always. Lovely quiet location and excellent dog walking areas.

Reception staff very good. Courteous, helpful, friendly and cheerful. Breakfast all good, with the sole exception of the toaster which seemed incapable of producing toast! Shower good. Good size bedroom. Comfortable bed. Everything worked, but suspect that the heating was only just coping, and that if it had been a little colder the room might well have been uncomfortably cold. Parking is good. Not smart, but bags of space.

We like everything about this hotel and have stayed before. We require accommodation that allows dogs and feel we are welcomed at all times. The room was ideal with access to the garden from our room which made life a lot easier with the dogs, the room was comfortable and warm and met our needs in every way. Breakfast was delicious with as much to eat as we wanted and we were able to eat at the hotel and dinner was again equally as nice with a great selection and efficient and flexible service. Many thanks to the team.
