Hotel Overview

Located in the Sauze ski resort, Hôtel l'Équipe has free private parking (free access) and is 6 km from Barcelonnette. The restaurant serves traditional French cuisine, you have a small lounge to rest in
This hotel was built in the 1950s, did not require it to be modern, it kept its VINTAGE spirit. As a result, the wifi is very moderate there, but is free... No elevator, carpet in the rooms...
Each chalet-style room offers a view of the valley or the ski slopes. A flat-screen TV is included in the rooms and the private bathrooms are fitted with a shower. Some rooms have a balcony.
In winter, you can go skiing in the direct surroundings, with ski-to-door access. The nearest ski lift is 100 meters away.
In summer, the valley offers many activities, hiking or mountain biking departing from the hotel

The hotel is run by a family who are very helpful and welcoming. The family room we stayed in was very clean and nicely decorated. I didn't take breakfast but the rest of my family did and there was an excellent choice. Not far from Barcelonette with beautiful views. Would recommend this hotel.

Breakfast very good. Dinner OK. Burger excellent but steak difficult to eat - more like topside and in gravy. Ordinary steak as stated on menu would be preferable. Very good beer and wine. Raspberry tart excellent.
