Spacious clean room. Perfect location with the door opening right at the fortress wall. The opportunity to walk around almost empty beautiful town in the evening and early in the morning when all tourists are out of town (except for those staying in hotels of Mont Saint-Michel). Great hotel staff.

Location Location Location: After the tourist left, it felt like we had the island to ourselves. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was magical. The tour of the Abbey is a must, and not too expensive. Be prepared for lots of steps. The island itself was very clean and well lite, a piece of history around every corner. There are plenty of spots to take amazing photos from every angle. Free shuttle buses from the car parks every 15 minutes.

The location is perfect if you want to organise an overnight stay on the Mont Saint Michel The rooms are ok, clean and best possible location on the Mont Saint Michel. The staff is very professional.

Ideal location from which to explore Le Mont St Michel. When the crowds leave - you have the entire island to yourself - A beautiful location and the hotel is the perfect place to rest and relax,

The location was amazing and it was defenetly an experience to stay the night on the Mont St Michel. Walking around at night on the island was the highlight of the trip.

After reading mixed reviews about the hotel and knowing its an old building I wasn’t expecting too much but we booked a suite for one night and it was exceptional. A extremely modern, spacious suite with an amazing bathroom. the large windows allowed for superb views out over the bay and the room was very soundproof. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant that evening and the staff were very friendly and helpful, as we do not speak any French. Staying on Mont saint Michel was a definite highlight of our trip.

Giving the fact that some of the last reviews during high season were not so good we decided to give it a chance…. And I am here to state just the opposite…our stay couldn’t be better, room was very clean and cozy, heating working perfectly, amazing view of the bay, perfect sunset. Breakfast was also delicious…all the employees very polite.

Lá Mère Poulard is extremely well located immediately when you enter on the island at your left. Super peaceful and the bedroom was as described.
