“Great destination for a short break in the mountains”

Enthusiastic, friendly and helpful welcome, reflected by all the staff we met. The breakfast must be one of the best in the region. Mont Dore is perfect for a short break. The Snowjazz festival was on with free shows every afternoon and evening.

Queen size room. Separate lounge, nice size with TV, coffee making facilities. Separate bedroom with nice size space. Bed comfortable and a cupboard to hang clothes and second TV. The bathroom was nice in size with a large shower. The only downside was a small separate toilet. Overall, the room was nicely decorated and better than expected. Front-of-house is tastefully decorated, modern and clean. Pleasant staff. The outside is clean, the grounds are neat, and the building looks pretty and has an old-worldly look. Nice to have parking onsite. Having not seen the other rooms, I still think it is worth more than a two-star hotel.

This is a great, traditional hotel. The staff are friendly and very professional. The rooms are spotless and well equipped with quality fittings. Too many hotels cut corners, but not this one. They also provide an excellent breakfast buffet.

Very smart hotel. The hotel has been renovated to a high standard but retains original features such as it's wide sweeping staircase. We had a lovely room, beautifully decorated and again, retaining original features. It wasn't a big room but the bed was big and so comfortable. Just enough storage space with the wardrobe and shelves. Excellent quality bedding and towels. The bathroom was lovely and spacious with plenty of storage for toiletries. An added bonus was a kettle and tea/coffee!! There is plenty of secure parking in the hotel grounds. Plenty of shops and eateries nearby.

The hotel is charming with lovely views of the surrounding mountains. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower. The parking is in the hotel grounds and has plenty of spaces. Excellent plentiful breakfast.
