Nice little B and B in a quiet residential street. Maybe 15 minutes walk to the middle of old Le Chable, 10 or so from the railway station/cable car station. You'll need some basic French but the main notes in the room are I'm English too. Comfy rooms opening onto a small terrace/garden with guinea pigs in a run.. Shower room upstairs. Breakfast served on a communal table with homemade breads. Elizabeth will sort out your cable car passes (free for the days you are staying)

The apartment is close to the train station, which is appreciated. The proprietary is helpful, kind and gentle.

Small room with shared bathroom, but clean, comfortable place with a friendly owner, for a really good price. I recommend it.
