Good: Wonderful decorated house. The room was very comfy and had all you needed for a good night sleep 😴. The garden 🪴 is beautiful and big and you can perfectly slow down from the day’s walk in case you are on the Stevenson way. Don’t forget to book the dinner 🍽️. Marie and Markus are excellent hosts and I enjoyed the evening very much trying to better my French. The food was absolutely delicious 😋 and Marie is a great cook 👩🍳. Thanks and congratulations to the place you have built!

The whole ambience of La Potala was exceptional. The hostess is obviously very proud of La Potala and its history - justifiably so. The facilities were excellent and evything was done to make the stay exceptional.

The warm welcome ‘fit for a king’ was a total surprise, and well received. The attention of our hosts was ‘top class’ and throughout our short stay could not be more welcoming. The house is exemplary with a mixture of old and new styles with adorning artefacts of travel & of collection. The bedroom was comfortable, quiet and exquisitely decorated, well suited for all types of travellers. A personal thank you for hosting us for dinner as local facilities were closed; an excellent supper with conversation was enjoyed. A peaceful & restful sleep enabled us to feel energised for the next days hike on the Chemin de Stevenson post a glorious immense breakfast! Thank you so much Marie 🙏
