It's quite a new place (we were 2024 there). The standard of finish is very good. The view our over the harbour to the island is wonderful. The free tea and coffe facility was a real bonus. We were on a bike tour and the bike storage is really great. It's a large locked contained beside the main building. Breakfast was exceptionally good. they bring it to your table and the selection was extensive and tasty. We would stay there again without question.

Of course, the location is ideal, directly at the harbor and just a 10 minutes walk to the ferry to Schiermonnikoog. Despite that, it was a quiet place. You do hear some noises from other guests, but not very disturbing. Checkin was very easy, we received a code to open the key box. The room was great. We had room #2, on ground floor. It is big enough, bathroom is modern. Beds are a bit soft, but we didn't find that uncomfortable. Great airconditioning that actually worked as you like - that becomes more rare these days. There was numerous free space to park our car. I would definitely stay here again, when in this neighborhood.

We loved the relaxed atmosphere with every need catered for. The staff were friendly and helpful. The recommended restaurant was very good. Loved watching the boats and the breakfast was very tasty.
