Service in the restaurant and food quality each morning was excellent. Every morning our waiter knew our coffees and organised them before we sat down. The chef she was beautiful, cooking my son his eggs each morning and was an absolute delight. Nothing was a problem at reception all requests were graciously met. Probably the best hotel experience I have had in all my travels.

The staff was very friendly and competent The hotel has modern amenities while having lot of flair and beautiful architecture Service is of a different level than more basic hotels We wanted to enjoy Lausanne and after searching for a hotel on booking.com and initially finding Royal Savoy, I liked it so much that I could not actually book anything else despite anything else being cheaper. Having completed my trip, I can confirm that the rooms were exactly like in the picture (we had the Savoy Executive room with Lake view and Spa), and the balcony offered a spectacular view.

Beautiful hotel, with lovely rooms and a fantastic spa. Very nice breakfast. Given a card for free use of public transport in Lausanne which was very helpful. There is a metro station directly opposite the hotel and Lausanne main train station isn’t far away.

The only reason the rooms where not close to each other was the two different buildings they have as well as the type of room booked. Not easy when you're a family of 5. Anyhow, not a problem for us and we did enjoy the night we stayed there. The staff was very nice and helpful. Especially Laura (Reception) and Alberto (Concierge).

I stayed at the room with the view for the lake and is awesome. The rooms is new and comfortable. Spa is a great plus in hotel, with hot pools, sauna. The gym is quite complete and clean. Breakfast is excellent. Also location is great, few minutes from a stunning walk in the lake.

Excellent location, well run property, good level of service and deservedly 5-star. The pool area was lovely, even if we couldn't access more facilities as my daughter is aged 11. The team at reception was very good, and managed to secure a late checkout for us as well. The property is in the heart of the city but plenty of mature trees, careful landscaping and lawns made it feel like a haven. A treat of a stay for the two of us!
