Amazing location, it is remote, but there are great signs so it is easy to find. Really comfortable house with everything you could need. Really clean and cozy.

Great location for Thingveller National Park, Gulfoss and Geysir. Spacious and lots of hooks and shelves. We stayed at cottage 2B and the the big L-shaped balcony allowed us to view the aurora borealis in different directions. It so happened the aurora appeared just above the cottage for 2 straight nights
