Location is excellent, beautiful spot. Upon arrival the Manager was at reception he didn't look happy and so the receptionist didn't look happy but she was pleasant, the manager didn't even say hello I got the impression he wanted out of there asap. So Welcoming feeling who be zero. The room was newly updated and was lovely and fresh tea/coffee facilities. The stairs/rec areas for staff are a bit musty but absolutely spotless. The breakfast was lovely the staff pleasant and helpful. The bar man was very chatty and nice. Overall would visit again, didn't eat dinner here so can't comment. Overall was lovely would love to see a few extra touches to the breakfast ie fruit was tinned and only 2 options pears or peaches would be lovely to see a variety of fruit and yogurt options and some pastries.

Wonderful location for hiking and exploring the beautiful surroundings. Very cosy, quiet and with good food options in the pub.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is in the middle of the natural park surrounded by forests and mountains. The location is exceptional. The property is very clean and the staff are very helpful. The restaurant is good however the breakfast is a let down and not up to the standards of the hotel. It is a pity that the selection of the food available is very poor and there was not even a machine that makes cappuccino. These are standards in other hotels for the rates that they charge.

Staff was lovely and helpful. The room had a view of the ruins. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quite small but cozy. Food at the hotel restaurant was ok.

We needed to stay in this location for work purposes, and we had an early start. It was challenging to get an 'early' (7am!) breakfast but it was acceded to after a number of contacts. The bedroom was very small but the bed was comfortable.

I had an Irish breakfast every morning. It was excellent. The location is beyond words. It is Glendalough after all.
