Food was very good Access to the beach and the pier. Child facilities - water park and club. Loved the fact that there was no super loud music blasting off at the beach as it often happens in resorts. Thank you.

I spent 10 lovely days in Sherwood Exclusive Lara with my 9 months old baby and my mother. I rarely write reviews but this place is worth my time♡ Prior to the trip i was reading some reviews and was worried but now i can share honest true view. Everything was amazing: -Staff members were super friendly, reception speak several language including English (please be realistic- dont expect each member of staff to speak all languages! But at any given point in time you will have cover). Staff in the restaurant were so lovely-in particular Erol and Ibrahim- daily they welcomed us,helped with drinks,baby chair,tea etc. It was a real pleasure having food under their care♡ Most hotel staff do speak some English but again-if there is a barrier, do get your phones out and use google translate. It is fun! -Rooms are nice too-everything is in there. We were given also a free baby cot, we used iron in the room (pick up from reception). Food was also great-loads of choices from healthy to non healthy, international cuisine,Turkish cuisine was super tasty- i enjoyed a lot! There is FREE wifi INTERNET on the whole hotel grounds including beach-massive positive! Another amazing thing- on arrival we had complimentary fruits,sweets&wine in the room. And guest relations member Oykum whatsupped me on arrival and said to contact her if i needed anything. It was great and very useful since i did need help subsequently. Separate thanks to the animation team-Michael Jackson show was a real blast-LOVED IT! One advice from me- if anyone is using taxi (even when hotel calls for it!), please make sure that you use tariff figures in the car and not fixed rate (triple the true cost!). This is local taxis being naughty. If they insist on fixed rate then dont use them, take plate number and report them (via reception). This has nothing to do with the hotel. I dont normally return to the same hotel but this one is worth it so see you next year Sherwood :) ♡♡♡

The room, food options, pools and beach side were all excellent. We booked 8 nights in August 2024, the average temp has been 35-42 degrees Celsius usually humid. We had a super king bed with a sofa, a large shower, also a minibar with all contents included and refilled daily. There is also a small balcony with seating and metal bars to hang wet clothing to dry. The pools and the beach are fantastic! Loads of loungers but get out early. My favourite was the 16+ adults pool so relaxing and quieter, in a separate area that is higher than the rest. Different food buffet every night and plenty of snack places to have lunch at if you don’t fancy the buffet again. The breakfast buffet is also excellent with both cooked and continental options, and plenty of fresh fruits and breads selection. Labels for each item present in English and other languages, and drinks orders are always taken. There are a lot of seating and separate dining rooms so no matter what time you arrive there is always a table. Really good night entertainment in the amphitheatre and some dj nights at the beach. I recommend the Michael Jackson show if it’s scheduled! You can go to waterfall boat tours, parasailing and other water sports at the beach for a fee paid to a separate company. There is also a small games room which you need to buy tokens for and a night restaurant if you’re hungry or if you’re arriving late. The television only has a couple of channels in English but you’re not really there to watch to so this is fine. All really is inclusive. All water and soft drinks are bottled. There is a doctor and nurse on site but this is not inclusive and I feel like the opening times are not accurate and best for minor illnesses or injuries. TIP: if you like a rubber bat mat in the shower I suggest you request this as otherwise one isn’t provided.

The grounds were kept well and pools were lovely and clean. Wish there was less noise - blasting music some of the day and activities where staff shouted on microphones. Husband took to wearing ear plugs by the pool. The food was great, delicious Turkish breads and fresh meat on the grill. Kids particularly liked the chicken doners by the pool and freezer full of lollies.
