The Old Pound provides the welcoming, friendly atmosphere you'd wish for in a village pub that supports the community and offers great facilities for visitors to the area. They serve a good range of homely food and perfectly kept cask ales and ciders, backed up by cheerful and highly-efficient staff.

Traditional village pub with a separate block of rooms at the rear of the car park. Friendly people. nice atmosphere. good food, comfortable room with ensuite shower. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

Room was comfortable with a great shower and the breakfast was exceptional, we also had an evening meal and that was really good with no complaints. The pub itself was really warm and friendly with lots going on, the management and staff work really hard to make it a really nice and welcoming place, and they do succeed.

Friendly welcome, we managed to get a roast dinner after 5pm, something that's unheard of in our local. The food was excellent (including breakfast). The room was clean and the water was hot although we had to wait a while for it to come through hot
