“Peaceful retreat in stunning location.”

The property and surrounding forest is absolutely stunning. We stayed in the superior suite which was so tastefully decorated. The huge bathtub with views of the forest through the skylights was incredible. There is also a lovely breakfast room with views of the forest. Breakfast was delicious with lots of local and homemade produce. The host was lovely and welcoming. It is the perfect place for a relaxing retreat in nature while still being within a few minutes drive of a town with ample restaurants etc. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Domaine du Val Sauvage is a pure retreat. The setting is stunning, with lots of wildlife within the grounds and woodlands and many herbs and plants to awaken your senses as you walk up to the room. Caroline is a fantastic host, warm, friendly and attentive. The property is conveniently only a short drive from a very pretty town for lunch or dinners.

Magical setting in beautiful woodland The property was spotless . Individually styled bedrooms complete with coffee machine and kettle . We also had hidden Easter eggs 😃. A fridge in the kitchen was available to us to keep drinks cold . The breakfasts were amazing with fresh and locally sourced produce , also homemade cakes . Everything beautifully presented by a very talented and lovely host Caroline . She also recommended places to visit and her advice was spot on - such a lovely area with so much to see and do. We would definitely love to return

We received a warm welcome from Caroline at her beautiful location. The room and bathroom are elegantly renovated, it is obvious that they have spent a lot of time to think about all the details. The breakfast was very nice, home made cakes and local baguettes, eggs, yoghurt ... the property has a large garden/woods so you can walk around and enjoy ... especially in the early morning a concert of singing birds ... an amazing experience. This is a place to disconnect from the busy hectic every day life ... and just enjoy nature!
