Hostel Overview

Right alongside the River Lune in central Lancaster, this traditional pub serves real ales and hearty full English breakfast. The shops of the city centre are just a 5-minute stroll along the river, and a picturesque cycling route passes by the building.
Rooms at Wagon & Horses are elegant and traditionally furnished, with a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Each also has a work desk and an en suite bathroom with free toiletries.

Honestly this is my first time,ever writing on here....The staff are very friendly and wonderful people always ready to serve you .....The breakfast was superb .I had the opportunity to to select the type of breakfast I want.

Quiet location and very nice bar downstairs, plenty of parking to rear. 5 min walk to town centre. Excellent breakfast

Staff really friendly and welcoming, both evening and morning. We were too tired to do just to dinner, but excellent risotto. Nice atmosphere in restaurant/bar. Interesting historical pictures and narrative on the wall.
