We can highly recommend Wildebeeste Lamu to every traveller on a budget. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and arranged pick up for us from the airport. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was separate just outside our room. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own meals, but also check out Mangrove restaurant at the waterfront for their chicken from the BBQ at night. Wildebeeste has a lovely rooftop and a garden with turtles wandering around. Great quality for this price!

Old art gallery house that feels like a fairy tale. The host and room were amazing, I loved my stay!☺️ (Comment from Achim is just not true... 😔 He refused to pay for the accommodation...)

The location was amazing. The house give you the experience of the town. Joshua the manager was very hospitable.

What has impressed me most is the manager Joshua. What an amazing gentleman and what customer care,incredible.He got in touch shortly after I had booked, answered all my questions soon after I had posed them,helped plan my transportation and was there at the boat to meet me when I arrived in Lamu. A very friendly and hospitable guy.Every guesthouse should have a Joshua. Deep respect.Asante sana !!! The place itself is greatly located, has a great vibe and is very clean, I had a big comfortable bed and there was good wifi.
