I had a wonderful stay at these beautiful apartments. The design is excellent, the space is thoughtfully arranged, and the pool is absolutely stunning — one of the most beautiful I’ve seen. I would definitely stay here again.

The room looked very nice, and was very spaceous. The bed was not so comfortable. We did not use the big living room a lot, because the sofa and the chair were very uncomfortable. Location would have been great, very central. But at 5am and 5.30am the extremely loud prayer over the speaker near us was a total turnoff

I loved the interior pool, it looks just stunning. The whole interior was proper swahili archotecture that made my stay so authentic and luxurios at same. They also organised for me the boat transfer which was very convenient.

i came acoss Swahili Dreams Appartements randomly while looking for a place to stay in lamu. The pictures were so beautiful i thought it was a scam, upon my arrival on the 9th (january 2025), i was fully expecting something a run down plqce and not at all how it was reflected in the pictures, to my surprise, it was everything and more. the place was so beautiful, the rooms very spacious, there were fans but no need to use them because the place was so cool. there weren't any mosquitoes. the staff was so charming and welcoming, special shout to Peter, Faith and Patrick. The owners (Zeinab and Tarik) were also very good with communication and being present for any questions. the location was very safe and should i go back to lamu, i would definitely go there :)

The property is located in the middle of Lamu town which made it easier to explore the historical coastal town. We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool that is private to guests only. The room was spacious and well ventilated too.

It has been an amazing experience being at Swahili Dreams Apartments. The apartment is spacious, designed with the typical Swahili architecture approach, and the common space features an incredible indoor pool and seating area. The overall experience was great, strating from the pickup at the airport organized by Moroko, a local guide that came to pick us up at the Manda airport and got us to Lamu Old Town with a boat together with the boat owner Lali. Moroko proceeded to accompany us to the apartment, and gave us all the information to feel comfortable and walk around the town with ease. Moroko proposed many activities that we could do in Lamu, including tours of the old town, sunset boat trips, night boat trips to see the stars, trips to Shela and many more activities. Moroko went above and beyond to make our experience the best, making every activity perfect and planning every little detail and special surprises. I suggest everyone visiting Lamu to rely on Moroko for every activity you want to do in Lamu as he is extremely attentive and has amazing initiatives. He can be normally found around the waterfront of Lamu Old Town near Lamu House Hotel or on google as Cpt Moroko. This and the beauty of the apartment made the experience simply fantastic!
