+ Staff was very hospitable and helpful. Contact and payments without issues. + Rooms are nicely furnished and clean + AC + Hearty and various breakfasts + Nice terrace with a sea view + Very good restaurant (Moonrise) in neighbourhood

Fantastic location, right on the sea front and wonderful views of the sunrise. Roof top area and small dipping pool absolutely make the place exceptional. Can wander around Lamu embrace the beautiful craziness, come back, cool off in the pool and return to the serenity of Pwani house watching the rest of the world go by on the terrace. There are only three rooms and despite being 'full' we were the only ones using the fantastic outdoor space. You can ask Micheal to make you dinner up there as well which would be really special. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again if we return to Lamu.

One of the best places to stay in Lamu, with an amazing terrace in a spectacular house. There are a lot of good and not expensive restaurants around. The owner of the house did all to make it more than comfortable, arranged a pick up from the airport, gave me a free upgrade of the room, asked every day if I need or wish something, helped to find a amazing boat tour and enable to stay in the house a few hours longer. Thank you so much Stephen, and also thanks to Michael the caretaker. See you next time!

The location was ideal just next to the ocean the views in the morning and at sun set we just amazing. The property close proximity to tourists site and access to the other islands and beaches. The owner also upgraded our room at no cost which was very kind.

Pwani House is tastefully furnished and has a beautiful set up in the rooms and the common areas. The views are unbeatable and it helps that there are blackout curtains to keep light at bay come sunrise. Zion and Michael we absolutely helpful and we never lacked for anything. They were instrumental in helping us locate shops and vendors for various items.
