This place is so cozy and welcoming! You can rent kayaks and enjoy the river. They have great breakfast and family dinner every night. Hot shower with good water pressure.

Excellent location and a really peaceful haven. Lots of lounging in hammocks or pottering about on the river. We spent Xmas here and Tim and his staff made it a very special experience. Never had egg nog for Xmas breakfast before! The food was excellent and the communal evening meals wonderful. We did a boat trip and the chocolate making workshop-both run by staff-and both really interesting. Would definitely come back.

Beautifully set up hostel surrounded by lush Jungle. They serve really good food for a reasonable price (considering where you are). Staff is friendly and very well organised. the huts are gorgeous!

It is an absolutely amazing place, I loved everything - one of the greatest accomodations I've stayed. Staff and the owners are great, friendly and helpful. There's a very nice and one big cozy common area where you also eat at the same big table as everyone else, which I really love because you get to know each other and it's like a big family - and we had so much fun! But also when you like to have some privacy, you will find your place as there are a lot different spots to hang out (like hammocks, sofas etc.) all around in the lodge, also at the river. You can take Kayaks and go on your own, but also can book tours, which are very nice as well. In the river you can have a swim because it's clear. We stayed in the only dorm they had: only 5-6 beds, and 2 (actually 1 bed for 2 people - very small for 2 friends, maybe ok for a couple + 1 other bed) - so this "double"bed and one single bed are separated by a curtain and like this it was great, like having your own room. But as it's just above the common area and the kitchen you hear everything, as everything's open. Also, the bathrooms were always very clean, shower was warm!! and there's enough space to put your stuff in the shower.

I can‘t recommend this location enough to anyone who looks for a few relaxing days in the jungle on the shore of Rio Dulce. The property is so beautiful und amazingly taken care of. I don‘t know how they manage to keep everything clean and smelling fresh especially in the rainy season. It has been raining quite a few times the time we were there but we felt cozy at all times in the hammocks and in the common area. You can rent kayaks and SUPs and go to the Mangroves or Hotsprings all very close by which we loved. Tim and his staff are doing an outstanding job at making their guests feel comfortable and they helped us with transportation to Flores. And last but not least I have to point out how super delicious the meals were we‘ve had. It‘s all vegetarian and they serve huge portions, always with fresh bread for a more than fair price. Thank you so much for the great work you are doing!

This has been my favourite stay in Guatemala. The space is extremely conducive to relaxation and gentle socialising. The wifi doesn't really work, but I think that's what makes this place special (if you really need wifi you can ask or kayak to a nearby restaurant - which also has great cerviche). Lots of time spent doing yoga, swimming, sitting in hammocks, playing cards and eating as a family. The staff are incredible (thanks Tim) and the vegetarian food served is amazing with large portions. Definitely recommend getting the massage too. I can't wait to come back
