This is the most beautiful property. The staff are wonderful. The owners are warmhearted people passionate and knowledgeable about the Douro Valley and the region’s wines and port. The swimming pool was delightful, the accommodation is luxurious, the food was very good too.

Our stay was above and beyond! The property is stunning in person- the rooms are very large, bathrooms are large and modern (rainfall shower), the pool is the standout feature of the property with incredible views. The staff was also so helpful, offering ideas and recommendations for every part of our stay. The breakfast was also very good (eggs, pastries, fruit, cakes, etc.). The wine here is also incredible- they gifted us a free glass on arrival and even comped a whole bottle, which was just the cherry on top!

Great view, convenient location with a short drive from the places we wanted to go while in the region. Staff was great at arranging dinner reservations in great restaurants in the region. The swimming pool was very nice to wind down at the end of the day. Breakfast was very good too.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Quinta de Casa Amarela in the Douro Valley, Portugal, and it was an absolute delight. The accommodation effortlessly blends old-world charm with modern comforts, making for a truly memorable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The fresh breakfast was a delightful start to each day, and the pool area, overlooking the vineyard, provided a serene backdrop for relaxation. I would also recommend the wine tasting with Gil, the owner – his warm welcome and extensive knowledge added an extra layer of enjoyment to our experience.
