Staying at Quinta Casa do Quintal was an incredible experience that I will always cherish, largely due to our amazing host, Fernando. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed—not just as a guest, but as part of his family. Marques' kindness, warmth, and generosity are unparalleled. He is truly a gift to all who have the pleasure of staying with him. He went above and beyond in every way imaginable, always eager to help, and quick to offer support with a smile. He consistently extended his hand, providing not only a place to stay but a safe haven and a sense of belonging. His farm is beautiful, peaceful, and full of character, but it was his sincerity and kindness that made my experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a place that feels like home and a host who genuinely cares about your well-being and comfort, look no further than Quinta Casa do Quintal. Marques is now more than a host to me—he’s part of my family, and I’ll forever be grateful for his hospitality. Great location. Fernando was very nice welcome me with grapes and local wine and help to book a dinner reservation in a great restaurant. The room was new, big, clean and the all quinta is lovely.

The Quinta is great with a phenomenal view across the valley. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. What made the stay unforgettable was our host. He was very nice and provides help and tips whenever needed. He is also very proud of his own port and fruit which he happily shared with us.

We arrived on a very hot day and as soon as we entered the Quinta it was calm and cool - a perfect oasis. Our room had air-con and was large with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was generous and tasty. The views across the valley were stunning. Marques was fantastic providing us with freshly picked figs, organising wine tasting at very short notice and booking a table for dinner in Lamego. I could have stayed here for much longer than we did. We will be back!

The Quinta is overlooking the valley with beautiful terraced vineyards and fruit trees. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, super clean and with a very comfortable big bed. It's great having a coffee maker in the room. The bathroom is modern and kitted with toiletry products. Fernando welcomed us with a glass of vintage port on arrival and gave us recommendations for places to visit. The breakfast was delicious.

Room was clean and had all amenities. The host was very welcoming, especially accommodating as we checked in late. We particularly enjoyed the porto wine he gave us to sample and that he made himself. We also appreciated the care put into the copious breakfast that was prepared with care and that included cherries from the garden. Room and bed were comfortable. The place has a gorgeous view of the valley and surrounding vineyards. We really enjoyed this place and highly recommend.
