Staff, bar/restaurant, facilities. Our penthouse room was the best way to start our honeymoon. The views were phenomenal, staff were amazing. Especially the new years eve party that we decided to join. ♥️♥️♥️

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful especially the ladies on the main reception and the chap who drives the hotel taxi. The breakfasts were lovely and freshly cooked to order. Lovely views and a quieter location.

Overall, quite impressed by the resort given its remote location. Staff all friendly and chatty. Made use of taxi transfers with no issues, didn’t make use of any of the other offerings. The room was spacious and spotless, had a superb view over the bay (I think all rooms are guaranteed a similar view). Couldn’t really fault the room in any way. WiFi had fairly good coverage, although it did drop in speed/stop occasionally around the pool area. The pool, although not the largest, decent enough for a little swim. Steps down from the terrace direct on to the beach or in to sea (tide dependant). I had the breakfasts. Reasonable buffet style spread. Hot options and cereals/overnight oats also available. Made use of the restaurant for lunches and evening meals too, all pretty good. Provided you know it’s a little off the beaten track and everything is priced at resort prices (not street restaurant prices), you can’t really go wrong. I have stayed on Koh Samui a few times and would certainly use the place again.

Best hotel ever! Perfect view, small pool by the bay with the sunset view, very tasty food and above all - very friendly and helpfull staff! It was our third stay at Cinnamon and we will definately be back!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us organise scooters without any hassle. The most beautiful seaview from our room. And our rooms were cleaned every day. We all loved our stay. The welcoming cocktails were super tasty 😁

The location was quite nice. A small quiet beach. A nice view. In a good part of the island combining peacefulness with proximity to places of interest.

We spent 12 days in a Superior Deluxe room at Cinnamon Hotel and absolutely enjoyed our time there. The room was spacious, clean, and free from any unpleasant odors. The air conditioning worked perfectly—silent and effective. The highlight was the million-dollar view from the balcony, which made our mornings and evenings unforgettable. The staff were amazing, especially the women at reception who always went above and beyond to help us arrange taxis or rent a bike. The hotel’s restaurant was another highlight, offering delicious food with the convenience of room delivery. The pool was lovely, clean, and well-maintained, providing a perfect spot to relax. The location is another advantage—quiet and peaceful since it’s not on the main road, yet only a 3–5 minute ride to Lamai. After our initial stay, we extended for two more days but had to move to a Deluxe room, where the experience wasn’t as good. The air conditioning was noisy and ineffective, the room had a slight odor, and it was noticeably smaller. Despite this, our overall experience was fantastic. If we return, we’ll definitely choose the Superior Deluxe again. Cinnamon Hotel is a great choice for those looking for comfort, excellent service, and a peaceful environment near Lamai.
