However, Lake Tekapo is surrounded by Alpine mountains which will be extremely cold depending on the weather. We suggest you bring more layers when you are planning to visit Tekapo from April to October.Kindly noted that we are not able to cancel the booking due to natural disasters or road closures.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. A very modern and comfortable two bedroom house with all the facilities you would expect. Full kitchen, front load washing machine and very comfy beds. Self check-in was a breeze.

A modern spacious home. Great views of the mountains surrounding the lake. Well furnished with comfortable couches and a large TV. Kitchen bench was big so was easy to use. The large windows throughout the lake-facing side gave fantastic panoramic views. Trees from neighbouring properties below unfortunately have reduced the view of the lake to a thin slither.

The location was superb, the neighbourhood was quiet. The accommodation was comfortable, it’s like a home away from home. The night sky full of stars was amazing.

The location has some distance to the lake, the lake could be seen in front of the house It's pretty clean and with a lot of cooking stuffs, we even make a hotpot here.

Very spacious house, big open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Beautifully clean. Great location as well - you could walk to the bars and restaurants. The host was very accommodating. My car broke down as I was checking out and so I had to wait for roadside assistance to arrive. It was freezing outside so they very kindly let me stay in the house after checkout time until help arrived.
