The people running the cottage are very friendly and responsive. The location is quiet, away from hustle and bustle, yet walking 10-15 min to the centre and 1 min to the lake. The singing of birds in the morning. Very spacious garden terrace, living/kitchen area and bathroom.

The property was exactly what we had booked, and was how it was represented in the pictures. The check-in process was easy and everything that we expected was available. We loved the quaint nature of the cottage and it contained everything that we needed or our two night stay in Lake Tekapo. The highlights of the cottage were the fire place, which we used both nights, the well appointed bathroom, and the very comfortable bed, with plenty of blankets available. The location being set back from the road makes it very quiet and peaceful, we were not disturbed throughout the whole stay.
