Apartment Overview

Offering free WiFi and beautiful views of Lake Tekapo and the Southern Alps, Lakeview Tekapo offers 3 self-contained adults-only luxury units as well as a separate 2 bedroom unit.
Lakeview Tekapo is located in the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve. Mount Cook National Park is a 1-hour drive away. Free off-street parking is provided.
Each of these luxury suites enjoy absolute and uninterrupted views of Lake Tekapo, the Southern Alps and the lake’s surrounding mountain ranges. Each of the 3 studios have a sky window for stargazing from your bed, and an en suite bathroom including a shower, heater, underfloor heating, toiletries and a hair dryer.
Each suite at Lakeview Tekapo also includes a lounge with quality furnishings and 2 LCD TVs with cable channels and Netflix on demand. Suites have a dining table and chairs, and well equipped kitchen facilities including a refrigerator, microwave, a small bench top oven, electric frying pan, kettle, toaster, and kitchenware.
The main house comprises of 2 bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, a spacious living room and full kitchen. All suites at Lakeview Tekapo are un-serviced, and as such, all consumables initially supplied in your suite on your arrival are for the duration of your stay.

This 2 bedroom apartment with 2 ensuite, modern bathrooms offers stunning views of Lake Tekapo and the Southern Alps from the living room and master bedroom through the private patio. It is equipped with a full kitchen, air-conditioning and 50-inch flat-screen satellite TVs with Netflix on demand. Please note that this apartment is unserviced and pets are not allowed. For 2 or less guests the 2nd bedroom and the 2nd bathroom will be locked unless otherwise requested in which case an additional service fee applies.

Really enjoyed our stay here, the view was amazing so much better than I expected. The rooms were beautiful, clean and well stocked with the basics (coffee, toiletries, cooking utensils etc). Booking and communication was easy, highly recommend staying here!

Very comfortable accommodation but not very private as on road and close to other rooms. View was beautiful although not directly on lake as had to cross road to get to it.

The views must be the best in Tekapo, with even a sky light above the bed to enjoy the dark sky reserve to its fullest. This was one stay I wish I could have used as a base for the entire trip as it felt like a home from home with its tech friendly facilities, comfy living space, net flicks and tasteful decor.

This is the first time I've stayed in a hotel, the mirror will become clear after a hot shower. In the past,I need to wipe the mirror with my own after taking a hot shower.
