The fine print
The holiday park is currently under going some redevelopment - we are creating some great new spaces, a new playground area and making access around the holiday park a whole lot easier. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience or disturbance this may cause during your stay.There is also construction going on outside the boundaries of the holiday park in preparation for the new subdivision of Station Bay. "This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

The location of the resort is excellent - Lake Tekapo is easily one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. However, within the resort, the disparity between the location of some of the units/sites is huge. Some have the best views in the world (no exaggeration) out across the lake to the mountains and the sunrise. Others do not. The room was reasonably equipped with crockery, glassware, and tea and coffee. The double bed was comfortable. Regardless of where you are staying, it is a matter of minutes to reach the beach and a short and pleasant walk to the shop and restaurant area. There were heaters in the bedroom and bathroom, which were appreciated in the chilly morning. The shower was good - water pressure reasonable and water hot. This stay would have been an easy 10 if not for the lack of view and the lights left on at night.
