The location, the cottage is pretty much right on the lake, quiet and peaceful, providing all the amenities expected, except for tissues/paper towels. Which seems like it might be an NZ thing. Easy to find and maintain.

Gorgeous location, just 100m from lakefront, very short drive to town or a short walk. Nicely appointed and spacious. Had everything we needed. We arrived late but was an easy check in process

Having a place where we could cook, living room was a good size and we did put together the one 500 piece puzzle available in the cabin while watching Netflix. Very dark though as in the middle of the Dark Reserve (stars are amazing!!) and so I recommend getting back to the cabin while still daylight!!!
