Great little motel/hotel with a very warm feel! Value for money is excellent and the location is perfect for Laguna Beach. You can easily walk into the centre with lots of great cafe's restaurants, and shops on your doorstep! The hotel is by a main road but I slept easily and the hotel also provided ear plugs for those who are lighter sleepers!

The staff was so friendly, the place was clean and really comfy. It felt like a typical American place, we really loved it.

Location and proximity to town was great! We had room 209 on the top floor which was nice and bright, was worried the downstairs rooms would be dark. Very clean and the pool was a hit for our son. For a 2 star hotel this is top marks and deserves more!

Great location for the beach, local restaurants and transport to other areas. Rooms spotless. Comfortable beds with nice bedding. Nice pool. Onsite parking. Very helpful hosts both during and beyond our stay (including sending on an item of clothing I managed to leave behind!)

Super cute place. Good value for money - I had the room with the kitchenette, ground floor. It was barely even a five min walk to the Main Street with shops and restaurants.

This is our 3rd time to The Tides, we chose it primarily due to the close proximity to our son’s apartment. It is perfectly located in easy reach of Heisler Park, Main Beach and the town - all in a few mins walk. The best part is the swimming pool - very clean, with plenty of sun loungers.
