The room was clean and had a view of the lake! The hotel had a cute courtyard as well, and the breakfast provided was simple but good! The staff was very kind and the bus stop was right outside the hotel which was great!

The bed was so comfortable, and the cleaners kept the facilities cleaned and were diligent in giving the place a refresh. TV was great. The breakfast was fine and I really appreciated them making coffee for us. WiFi was fantastic. The views were great.

My second stay at the place and I am more satisfied with this time than last time. I had the room with the lake view so it was fantastic. The facility inside is good and meet my expectation, for what I paid. Location is good and not much to complain about.

the view was amazing. the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. very close to the bus route which allows for travelling Como with ease. we also loved the soap which was less harmful to be produced for the environment.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting and overlooks Lake Como. A car park is conveniently located just across the road. Those complaining about noise ... well, it's a rustic building, and the owners need to work with what they've got. In return for some inconveniences you get a very affordable stay with lovely staff, a great restaurant and even a breakfast. I don't think there's anything to complain about. We had a double room that shared the shower and WC with 3 other rooms. Both room and bathroom were very clean, and we never had trouble getting into the bathroom when we needed to. All of these four rooms have a small balcony overlooking the lake, and the views couldn't be better. Yes, the hotel is just next to a busy road, but ear plugs are provided if you need them. I didn't need the earplugs, and still managed to get a good night's sleep. It was early November though, so maybe worse in summer. The windows are double glazed. You can hear noise from other rooms, but I guess that's not the owner's fault, you need to hope that other guests are reasonable and won't have loud conversations in the middle of the night. Not a problem at all during our stay. We had Pasta Carbonara and a Pizza Prosciutto for dinner and it was fantastic. Breakfast was basic, but still all you need to get started for the day. The coffee from the bar was brilliant. All in all, I can only recommend the place, and I hope to come back for a long weekend at some point instead of just a short overnight stay on the way through.

- The view of Lake Como! - The sweet lil'garden - Henry and his wife were really helpful and provided info about the local culture and must visit places. They kept us entertained with chit chats as we enjoyed our dinner.
