Such a calm area. Cheap and tasty food. The receptionist was lovely, helpful and funny. Great location for Bicaz Gorge

The location is convenient, though it's not the closest to the center or lake, so keep that in mind if proximity is a priority. However, it’s ideally situated near several hiking trail starting points, which is great for outdoor enthusiasts. The on-site restaurant offers delicious food at surprisingly reasonable prices. We stayed in a two-bedroom house and were initially unsure about the electric heater, but it kept us warm even with nighttime temperatures around -5°C. For those interested in outdoor cooking, there’s a grill available, and if you’re in the mood for a warming experience, a wooden jacuzzi awaits (not all properties have such). Additionally, there’s a billiards table, a ping-pong table, and two stationary bikes, so you have plenty of options if you're looking for extra activities beyond hiking. There's a small pond where ducks sometimes came to stay and a cat that greeted every customer.

Very nice place to stay at the Lacu Roșu. The property is at 15 minutes walk from the lake. It is surrounded by mountains. It has a restaurant on the property.

Location and view was nice. The room was big enough and the bed was comfortable. Parking was easy.
