Walking distance to everything. Free parking. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Great view over the harbour and very convenient to town, with bus going past the front doors regularly. Very comfortable and the room was an ok size. Loved the pool area and parking was easy.

We liked being slightly out of the way overlooking the naval dockyard. It felt safe. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The pool was very refreshing

The staff felt like family! They were so accommodating, helpful, warm and friendly. As a solo traveller it meant so much to have that hospitality around you. Loved the generous breakfast and coffee, loved swimming in the pool, and loved the harbour view from my room. If you want to avoid crowds, have some peace and quiet, and still be central to be able to visit the rest of the local beaches and villages then this is a great place to stay. I asked the laundress if I could do my laundry and even though she didn’t speak English, she explained how to do everything and I understood it because she walked me through it all - she was just gorgeous.

A little bit outside the city, although the walk there is pleasant on an old railway line. But a fantastic view over the city, the harbour and the distant mountains. Breakfast on the terrace next to the pool was a great way to start the day. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only one restaurant close by, a very simple family pizzeria. But the service was also friendly there, the atmosphere welcoming, and the pizzas excellent - we went there twice!

The location is fantastic. The staff were really nice and helpful especially Francesca who stayed beyond her work time to ensure we arrive for the check-in process, we had a delay on the road. We’re grateful to her.
