Have nice access to train station, stylish interior, friendly staff, size of room (we chose a superior room as being informed there's no lift to the first floor), reserved parking (located near the station). I would recommend this hotel if you want to visit Cinque Terre by train.

What stands out above everything else at The Poet Hotel is the staff, especially the front desk staff (but also breakfast and cleaning staff). They were so friendly, patient, accommodating and concerned with our needs. Breakfast was outstanding, as were the facilities. The Poet Hotel is located within a short walk (15 min) from the La Spezia Train Station, and close to lots of great bars and restaurants.

The Poet is a very welcoming, fresh and modern hotel situated not too far from the train station. We checked in early and left our bags with reception. The room was large, with a nice comfy bed and all the facilities one would require. Only a short walk down into the town centre, so a great location for exploring La Spezia (which is an absolute gem).

Lovely hotel, large clean rooms. Excellent air conditioning. Very good breakfast. Easy 7 minute walk from train station. Only about 3 minutes walk from main street which runs parallel. 15 minute walk to the waterfront. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! The only thing I'd change is to make the elevator a little bigger. Other than that, it's perfect! It smells great, the breakfast is exceptional, the staff is courteous and attentive, and the hotel is modern and very pleasant!
