First of all, the hostel is amazing from a building/structure perspective. It's super clean and receives a lot of daylight! The common areas are great, it has a few balconies, the kitchen is by far one of the best i've ever seen in the more than 30 hostels in which i've stayed. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The lockers are safe and you don't even need to use your own padlock. Then, the staff is lovely! they are all so nice, so aware of everything, they are always available for the guests and they give great recommendations since they are super knowledgeable about La Spezia, Cinque Terre and every near by town and city. Now, socially talking the hostel is also a 10/10. You will make new friends here for sure since the common areas are great, there's a Whats App group for the guests and the staff and the hostel also prepares dinner every night (they are sooo good and cheap) so you'll end up having dinner with a lot of fellow travelers and make new friends :) Oh! Also the breakfast is great :) Finally, the Grand Hostel Manin is one of those hostels that you feel sad leaving since you have such a great time there. I'd recommend anyone wanting to visit Cinque Terre and La Spezia staying here and spending quite a few days (there's so much to do and the hostel feels like your home). Grazie Grand Hostel Manin! It was a modern, clean place, filled with light. The balconies were very nice. The staff were interesting people, and helpful: they provided me with a map of the area and gave detailed recommendations. Oh, and there was free breakfast!

The crew were sooo nice! The guy from argentina was very kind and helpful, it made me so welcomed to the hostel! Everything was clean, breakfast was very good, social enviroment amazing. O had very good time !!!

Location was pretty good, close to city centre where the restaurants are. Place is clean, with extra toilets and showers, there’s free food for breakfast which was lovely.

I wish the main entrance picture was in the advertisement if they haven't. Anyway they let me shower and cook my simple meal so that I carry it with me. They are helpful with telling how to get to a location. Thanks

Staff is really nice, there are activities every evening, walking to the station is on a busy street, which is safer...there's also breakfast available every morning.
