Magnificent property in LA Spezia Foce. A short drive in the hills above town. The house and gardens are beautiful. The location is fantastic. If you have a car. We visited Cinque Terre and Portofino from here. The host is delightful. Ciao!

Great accommodation on the ground near La Spezia. First of all, I want to thank the hostess again for waiting for me to check in after the check-out time (19:00) and for helping me online with the route to the house. It is a cozy villa house on the top of the hill with a nice terrace and decor (and lots of hand paintings😃😍). I got a clean, comfortable room, which had everything I needed: bed linen, blanket, disposable slippers, instant coffee, cream, tea, snacks, plates, cutlery, glasses and a wine opener. The shower room also had everything I needed, the water pressure was good, there were no problems with heating the water either. I felt at home with everything I needed. There are several restaurants not far from the house (5 minutes' walk), in one of which I drank an espresso for a euro or so in the morning (Perdire, open on weekdays from 6:30). Also on the way to the restaurant there is a viewing platform overlooking the city, the sea and the peaks. I would like to note that there are bus stops near the house that create a connection with La Spezia, but buses run on average only every hour and a half, and do not run after 19:30. Or you can get to the house from the city by taxi for 15-20 €. This is not a problem if you have a car, except that the road between the house and the city is mostly serpentine. Overall, I was satisfied and recommend this place.

Host was very friendly and welcoming. Nice location , with views and quiet. We visited Cinque Terre and Portovenere from La Spezia.

Kristine (Julia’s mother) welcomed us warmly, she suggested us what to visit in the area, also the best way to do it. She also provided cutlery and some cakes during our stay. The room was clean, and very nicely decorated, we loved it! There is also a car parking inside, which is comfortable when you have suitcases.
