Only 5 minutes walk from the train station in the middle of the city. The rooms are on the 3rd floor of a beautiful old building in the old city. There is an elevator. Marco welcomed us with his daughter and they gave us lots of tips on where to go and where to eat. There is also a folder in the room with all the information. Our room had 2 twin beds and was perfect for me and my friend. There is also a small fridge, coffee and thee facilities and a beautiful bathroom. Don't hesitate to stay here!

Beautiful wee apt in the heart of the city. Hosts were so kind picking us up at the train station when we arrived late at night.

Everything was wonderful. The location, the room and the facilities but particularly the warmth, support and advise that came from Elise. As an elderly solo female traveller she offered to meet me at the railway station and escorted me to the apartment. Elisa then took me through all the suggestions for a day's travel to Cinque terre and Porto Venere. I followed her suggestions and had a brilliant day. The notes in the room also covered ideas gor restaurants and walks. It was all more helpful than the services of a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful. Central. 5 mins from station. Lovely apartment and room. And air con. Attention to detail. Drinks snacks and toiletries. Hosts were so helpful. Great information book. Nothing too much trouble

Centrally located near the train station and within short walk to all the bars and restaurants. Quiet, clean and comfortable. The hosts Marco and Elise went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They met us at the train station and took us to the apartment and took the trouble to drive us to pick up a hire car on our departure. Wonderful hosts.

Every detail was thought of, the room was beautiful with a balcony to relax on in the evenings. Eliza checked us in and shared great tips about the local area and was really helpful throughout the stay.

We chose La Spezia for proximity to the Cinque Terre and were not expecting too much from the town itself. However, our hosts were amazing and provided exceptional advice about the town, places to see and local food delicacies and places to eat. This massively improved our experience and we really enjoyed staying at La Spezia as a result. The room itself is in a great central location and has more facilities than you would expect from a room, with cold drinks provided in the fridge and a basket of cakes, plus crockery and cutlery if you want to eat. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

You are welcomed by the host who takes you to your room and explains all about the area, etc, and extremely warm and helpful!! Location is excellent and very quiet. Room was serviced daily and air conditioning was excellent! Snacks provided, tea and coffee too!
