This is what hospitality should look like, especially in Baja California. Family-owned, sustainable, timeless. The place is gorgeous, with a large shared kitchen / living room and a beautiful garden. The owners are very nice and prepare breakfast themselves. Position is great

Closed compound (we brung motorcycles). Communal breakfast culture. Communal kitchen. Ebb and flow of mature Americans and younger Mexicans. Decent pool. Big rooms. Stroll into town about 1km. Run along Malecon. Chatty hosts.

The space is very nice and the host is friendly. The breakfast is also nice with the homemade muffin and granola. I would definitely return to this accommodation if I visit La Paz again.

The location is excellent, easy to walk to the malecon or take a taxi. The property is gated, private which is helpful for women traveling alone. Milton and Susu are the BEST hosts - attentive, kind, supportive. They provide a welcoming and safe environment. Feeling blessed to have stayed at Casabuena.
