Close to beach and shops. Decent bed and shower. Good air-conditioning (in bedroom only). Only five minutes walk from ferry and our luggage was transported for us both ways by very pleasant young man from Bangladesh, called Nahid.

The apartament is very nice and clean. There is everything you can need. Air condition workes very good. Shops, restaurants, beaches are very close (as everything on La Digue island ;) We could borrow bikes from the apartament owner.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Charette, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. This charming little house is perfectly suited for an island getaway, offering comfort, convenience, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The location is unbeatable – just a short stroll from the beach, with the soothing sound of waves nearby, and numerous fantastic food joints within a five-minute walk. The ferry is also conveniently close, making the villa easy to access and a great base for exploring the island. One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent care provided by Nahed, the villa’s caretaker. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always available to answer our questions and assist us at any time, whether day or night. His local knowledge was invaluable, offering great recommendations for restaurants, hidden gems, and must-see sights around the island. The villa itself is a dream. It’s beautifully designed to let in ample natural light, with sunshine streaming through the windows throughout the day, making it feel like the quintessential island home. Every morning, we woke up to a bright, airy space that instantly lifted our spirits. Villa Charette even has bicycles available for rent, which is a fantastic touch. The villa was thoroughly cleaned and well-stocked daily, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable and stress-free stay. The location couldn’t be better – it’s centrally situated, making it easy to reach all sides of the island. Lastly, the villa’s owner was incredibly kind and helpful, adding a personal touch to our stay that made us feel truly welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Villa Charette to anyone looking for the perfect island escape.

Before staying here, we had stayed at two other places in the Seychelles (on Mahé and Praslin), and our favorite by far was this guesthouse on La Digue. The property is picturesque, the hosts are welcoming, the location is convenient, and the sunsets over the ocean, just a two-minute walk away, are incredible. Our apartment had everything we needed and more, making us feel right at home. We especially appreciated the mosquito net over the bed. There were hardly any mosquitoes, but this thoughtful touch made our stay even more comfortable. The apartment was cleaned daily, which was another pleasant bonus. The manager of the guesthouse was very attentive and friendly; it was a pleasure dealing with him. He helped us with all our practical needs and even rented us bicycles at a lower price than those near the port. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience on La Digue! Wishing you continued success, prosperity, and considerate guests!

everything was perfect, hosts are very friendly and communicate persons, room service was everyday and cleaned well, location is perfect, everything is near. You can hire a bike from hosts and it's cheaper and also very comfortable.

The cottage at the back was superb and quiet, with excellent apartment amenities including a sufficient kitchen (stove, oven, toaster, microwave, pots, plates, cutlery, fridge). Inside, there's a living room with a kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The free WiFi was very good for an island and despite staying with our 3-year-old child, we didn't hear any noise. It's close to the center and the ferry. Arthur picked us up and took our luggage and on our return, he directly dropped them off at the ferry. Arthur was very helpful, quickly addressing every request. It's a great place for sunset views. Severe beach just 3 minutes away by bike, and there is also bakery and shops nearby (3 min by a bike). Arthur helped us to rent bikes and did everything that we feel comfortable there. Very important for us was a washing machine. Just take some powder from home with you and you can wash your clothes, what is really helpful in a long-term journey. We really enjoyed our stay - our 3y. boy too. We highly recommend Villa Charette and thank you Arthur for everything!
