Guest parties of including 2 or more people can request a Sukiyaki dinner. To have Sukiyaki dinner at the property, a reservation must be made at least 1 day in advance.Please note that there may be noise disturbances due to construction work on the main building from January 16th to March 31st between 9:00 and 17:00. Thank you for your understanding.An accommodation tax per person per night is not included in the price and needs to be paid at the property.

what to say about this ryokan? It feels like you are being welcomed home. The staff is absolutely sensational and the facilities are great. You have everything for a real ryokan feel at a reasonable price. We also had the dinner there (yuo have to book a few days in advance) which was nice and they also arranged for a shiatsu massage in my room which was great! The breakfast was delicious as well and they have a pretty nice onsen.

A fantastic experience! The staff were wonderful and the dinner was absolutely delicious and memorable. We travelled with our 6 year old and it was absolutely lovely. Wish we could have stayed for two nights instead of just one. Noa in particular was a delight to deal with.

Absolutely everything was perfect. The staff were super friendly, respectful, and accomodating. The breakfast was outstanding. The futon was more comfortable than some beds I slept in at hotels.

Luxury, Japanese-style. Fantastic comfortable room with ensuite all-singing-all-dancing toilet. Lovely ensuite bath/shower as well as use of the steamy warm women only Onsen. Breakfast was amazing... Make your own tofu! As well as a quiet but convenient location.

In a quiet location, on a side street, away from traffic and a bit far from the sights, but this was already apparent from the room map when booking. The signs were mostly in Japanese (TV, AC, toilet) on the consoles. It was a challenge but the staff was always helpful. Breakfast was wery traditional japanese food, nice well presented, Real expereince regarding traditions

It was very close to Kyoto station. A 10 minute walk. The staff generally spoke English well and were very helpful. I am a coeliac and they catered the breakfast to suit my needs. I did take a gluteguard tablet at each meal but they took it seriously. It was clean and quiet. There were a few small restaurants nearby. I would stay there again.

The accommodation had a really cosy feel. My first time staying in a ryokan and thoroughly enjoyed it. Plus the staff was so lovely and welcoming! The hotel is around an 8 min walk to Kyoto station and bus routes so it’s super quick and easy to travel to the tourist spots.

Fantastic staff (English was good), fantastic breakfast, fantastic room and public onsen was available to use. Great decor, aesthetics were beautiful. Really appreciated the aesthetic, the welcoming staff and the accommodations the staff gave, especially as we had come in early and soaking wet from the rain (they gave us warm tea and towels to warm up, and even though we were hours early, the room was prepared already).
