I loved it here! I traveled alone so I had a one-person-room. It was small but super cozy and absolutely enough. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel was quite and had a nice atmosphere. The location was a tiny little bit far away from subway stations but other than that it was good as well!

My second stay at the Hedistar Hotel was as good as my first stay. Staff is still super friendly, everything is still clean and it has all the facilities that you need. And nothing can beat the cheap prices here.

I found it very clean and relatively quiet. The location is very good as you can reach many places by foot and you have busses basically stopping at your doorstep. I appreciated the refreshments corner in the hall with teas and water. Having a laundry in a hotel is great too, although the drier function isn't working very well.

The room I got had a very nice view, was clean and super comfortable. Pretty close to Nijo castle, which is great. Plenty of convenience stores and some good restaurants nearby. Breakfast is bento boxes, but still good
