It was located in a beautiful place and the view was good. The rooms were very traditional.It was neat and well maintained.

Very accommodating to foreign language travelers, all the staff try their very hardest to communicate. Whilst the facilities are showing their age there is a certain charm to it. The bathroom in particular is very dated but having a bath in that tub was spectacular for a person as tall as myself. Dinner and breakfast were also excellent.

A lovely way to experience a traditional Ryokan as a family. The room was beautifully appointed and comfortable. The staff were lovely and the location was great with views of the river and easy walking distance to everything we wanted to explore.

The property is a little dated but it adds a lot of flavour to it. The rooms are traditional Japanese rooms with tatami and Japanese style bathrooms. The staff were extra helpful, and although there was a language barrier we managed to do everything perfectly.
