Wow. 5 star service for half price. The staff were beautiful and amazing. Entering and existing you left like royalty! Breakfast options were okay, some basic slices of bread and boiled eggs would have been a delight but I made work with what was there. The onsen was great. The special pillow and special nigh clothing as well was exception. If I didn’t book a place non refundable in Osaka we would have loved to stay two EXTRA DAYS! Next time! Thankful for the service!

If you want to see central Kyoto, the hotel's location is unbeatable. Walking distance from Nishiki Market, less than 20 minutes by bus from Kyoto Station, walkable distance to Gion and major attractions. The hotel supplies you with everything including skin care. While the onsen is small, it's good to have after a long trip. The hotel staff are very nice and the check-out is hassle free.

Location couldn't be more perfect - right beside Shijo Kawaramachi station, smack in the middle between the main shopping streets and Gion area. Hotel amenities were great - loved the free onsen, breakfast spread was pretty good and food were nice, the free cocktail hours and pillow selection were nice addition. Lots of little helpful features around like a weighing scale for your luggages at every floor. I'd definitely choose to stay again when I return!

Amazing location with a 5 mins walk to the Nishi market. The room was very small, and you had to step up to get to the camper sized bathroom. My legs hit the tub and walls a bit. You can choose your own pillows. Bathroom was a bit small. Breakfast was very good. You also have a public bath on the floor if reception.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the variety of dishes offered was great. The banquet area was also spacious and felt relaxing. I liked that they offered refreshments in the evenings as well. We also loved the hotel's cleanliness. We also appreciated that the staff was super helpful when we inquired about shipping our larger suitcases to our next hotel in a different city. The hotel's location was good, it was a short walk from the train station although since we arrived in the evening, we made a wrong turn (we initially missed the alleyway that was a shortcut to the hotel).
