Only 5 mins walk from Shijo Metro station. There are plenty of bus stops near the hotel as well. If you are a fan of pokemon, the Kyoto pokemon center is just 5 mins walk from the hotel. Clean room. Breakfast had good selection of Japanese and Western food. They also incorporate Kyoto style food into the breakfast which I really appreciate.

Excellent location with easy access to public transport (buses and trains) that get you everywhere. About 1.5km from Kyoto station so definitely walkable. Lots of restraurants around and very close to major attractions. The breakfast is limited in options but the lovely staff are there to greet you.

The location of the property was great and the rooms were spacious by Japanese standards. The free use of umbrellas was also a win when it was raining!

Deluxe double was big. Great 5 night stay. I wish it had a coffee machine in the lobby you could use (so you didn’t have to wait for breakfast).

Within 5 minutes to the subway station entrance where the elevator was located. Quiet location. Comfortable firm mattress. Very helpful reception staff.

The location was good - same model as the Sotetsu we stayed in Tokyo - so more like a dorm room / small cruise ship cabin with the bed against the wall…

The breakfast was amazing. We loved the range of food and the staff at breakfast were friendly and helpful. Being a walk away from Shijo station made it easy to navigate around Kyoto. The 711 on the corner was great to exchange money and buy snacks.
