Our first ryokan stay was a fun experience for the family. We enjoyed everything from sliding across the slippery tatami mats and polished wooden floors in tabi socks to dining in yukatas and soaking in the public bath. The elaborate meals were delightfully presented by Akari, our very sweet and super-efficient host. She made us feel very much at home.

An exceptional Japanese experience with a hint of luxury. Loved the detail of each room and the onsen was relaxing. The staff were so lovely and friendly and service was brilliant.

The hospitality from the team is amazing. The whole team greeted us upon reaching the ryokan and served us hot tea upon returning to the room after a long day out. It really have the "coming home" feeling. The food is Kyoto speciality and there are so many courses to finish for the evening meals. It's really great to try out new cursine e public bath is well maintained and is quite exclusive as this is a small ryokan. Overall, we loved our stay here and my kids are hoping to visit them again.

Fantastic experience, beautiful ryokan, staff was extremely nice and always helpful. The room was beautiful, like being transported to another world. The room was very good size, very spacious. Bathroom was great, lots of amenities and a comfortable wooden bath. The onsen was small but very cute. The house itself is very pretty. Make sure you get the dinner and Japanese breakfast, it was so worth it.
