The kotatsu, electric blanket, and humidifier were excellent bonuses to make our stay comfortable during winter time. The room was exceptionally clean. It was obvious they take great care of the things to better accommodate guests.

My room was clean and warm, and the space was cozy for an overnight stay. Very quiet.There’s also a bus stop nearby, and the hotel is located in a picturesque area, close to many temples and the Philosopher's Path. What impressed me the most was their garden, which is in a different building about a 10-minute walk away—it’s incredible! However, I spent a long time looking for the location at first, so I recommend checking it on Google Maps right away. Thank you!

The manager and the assistant girl were very supportive. The manager was very enthusiastic to advise the bus routes. Modern, beautiful, clean, big room. Close to the bus stop. Good price compared to others in Kyoto.

The staff is amazingly kind and will be there if you have any questions! They also provide free bicycles, the perfect way to explore Kyoto !

The owner of the hostel, while somewhat quirky, is actually really kind and generous. The use of laundry facilities is completely free, and it includes detergent, which I've almost never seen at any another hostel. Guests also have free use of bicycles, another great perk. There is supposedly a separate house that guests can use communally, though unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see it. I also liked that I was allowed to leave my bag at the hostel all day while I went hiking.

It’s in a quite area where you can reach there by bus only. Bus runs very frequently but it takes 1 hour to go to city. There are markets and restaurants. Some close early. Closest pub is 15 min by walk. Room is super cozy, they offer free bikes. There is venting machine outside.

host is very welcoming and the location is super close to a lot of nice temples. the rooms are smaller than usual hostels and have a private bathroom too.

I can’t remember the name of the man who owns Roku Roku but he was amazing. Made sure we had everything we needed & waited up late for our late arrival. The room was spacious and clean.
